MY STORY

As Bundaberg locals our family are forever on camping trips, taking day trips in the boat, fixing fences on the family property or are at our kids sporting events. As a fulltime Mum of 2, I found myself frustrated when it came to protecting my family and particularly myself from the dreadful UV rays we encounter on the daily. I was frustrated in the fact that I could only find ugly or pretentious “fishing shirts” to wear out and about with the family. I longed for a sun safe shirt that wasn’t obviously a “fishing shirt” and didn’t make be stand out in the crowd, something presentable enough to stop off at the grocery store after a long day that reads “busy mum” and not “probably smells like bait” and thus Simple Sun was born. Simple Sun is a family owned and operated small business located in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia.
